Limited Edition Christmas Ornament 2007
Christmas in St. Michaels 2007 is proud to present the fourth in our annual series of collectors' ornaments - "A Gaggle of Geese." Local design artist, Joanne Buritsch, has captured the beauty of the geese sporting black, brown and white plumage that grace our fields and shorelines. Their arrival heralds the change of seasons in the Chesapeake region. They are a fixture in the area during the holiday season - and some even make it to the holiday dinner table!

Limited Edition Christmas Ornament 2005
The Chesapeake Bay Skipjack, depicted so gracefully here, was adapted from a painting by the renowned local artist John Moll. Oystermen needed a lightweight, inexpensive boat that was easy to build and could navigate the shallow waters of the Bay. These wooden sailing vessels were introduced in the 1890s for dredging and transporting oysters to processing plants. During their heyday there were as many as 2000 skipjacks working on the Bay. The perfect gift and treasured souvenir (delivery only in the contiguous 48 states)
