Collectors Ornaments - Online sales begin July 1st
Every ornament is crafted in 24k gold-plated brass and in a gift box appropriate for gift-giving or for your own keepsake. Included in each box is a brief description/historical information about the theme of the ornament. Each ornament is $20 (plus $3 shipping and handling).
The 2010 Ornament
Christmas in St. Michaels is proud to present the seventh in our series of Collectors Ornaments.
The Great Blue Heron is featured in this year’s ornament. Local design artist Joanne Buritsch has captured the grace and elegance of this bird whose habitat includes the area near the Chesapeake Bay.

2009 Collectors Ornament
Sixth Christmas in St. Michaels ornament: Picturesque St. Michaels Harbor with the popular tourist boat The Patriot in a scene rendered by local artist Jack Bockmiller. The campus of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is in the background.
2008 Collectors Ornament
Fifth Christmas in St. Michaels ornament: Celebrate the oyster with a shell design which includes an adaptation of work by local artist John Moll showing a waterman “tonging” for oysters from the deck of a typical Chesapeake workboat, super-imposed on a classic oyster shell.
2007 Collectors Ornament
Fourth Christmas in St. Michaels ornament: “A Gaggle of Geese” as depicted by design artist Joanne Buritsch. The geese, sporting black, brown and white plumage, grace our fields and shoreline.
2006 Collectors Ornament
Third Christmas in St. Michaels ornament: The frisky Chesapeake Blue Crab is shown crawling out of a basket full of his friends.
2005 Collectors Ornament
Second Christmas in St. Michaels ornament: This ornament depicts the historic Chesapeake Bay Skipjack, a sailing vessel unique to the area and fast disappearing.
